We started Optimum Sportswear in 1991 when I decided to leave my teaching position and enter the family business to pursue entrepreneurship. The company was founded by my father, Joseph Comeau, and my brother-in-law, Paul Farnham. We began in the basement of our house for the first two years, then moved to 350 Merrimack Street, where we rented space for 15 years. In 2017, I was fortunate to purchase a 5,000-square-foot building in the city of Lawrence, MA.


We aimed to grow a business that stood for uncommon value and integrity. Earning a reputation as the preferred brand management company was our goal, and with hard work and an excellent team, we were able to fully realize our vision. Growing the business in a way that was true to our values of service, excellence, and team spirit was a fundamental part of our work culture.


Optimum Sportswear is a family-owned brand management company specializing in screen printing, embroidery, and custom apparel. I’m so proud of our champion team of professionals who have been with me since the beginning. We all look forward to serving you and taking your brand everywhere!
